I am a qualified, BACP accredited, person-centred Counsellor and Psychotherapist, having studied to post-graduate level at Salford University. The nature of person-centred counselling is to offer an empathic, non-judgemental and confidential space for you to explore your feelings. Rather than giving you advice or guidance, I believe that given the right conditions and head-space to offload, you can tune into your inner compass to find a way forward. I am also trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) skills and can work with you in a more structured way if this is appropriate.
People turn to counselling for many different reasons including grief, trauma, depression, anxiety and relationship issues. A sense that life isn’t living up to expectations, or a feeling of being stuck and not knowing a way forward can also lead people to seek counselling. Whatever your reason for wanting to talk things through, taking the first step and seeking help can sometimes be the hardest.
Fees are £40 for a 1 hour session and appointments are available at my treatment room in Hoghton on Tuesdays, at The Mandala in Preston (Tuesdays and Wednesdays £45) and via Skype. Please email or phone 07910 126938 to book in.
